Spangler dedicates the win to David Vandavander At Putnam Co

The biggest Putnam County Speedway rival in the Hobby Stock division that has been going for generations starts
on the front row. Chad Scranton and Davis Miller Jr. who fathers used to race together in the past at Putnam
County Speedway. As they take to the track for a 15 lap main event starting 10 cars. Miller took the lead early after
finishing 2nd in his heat race, with David Dowling Sr. following and Chad Scranton waiting for a mistake from
Miller who won his heat race, or Dowling. By the time lap 5 came Miller Jr. in the #21 ford mustang had a ½
straight lead on the 66 of Dowling and 18 f Scranton. As they battle for 2nd and 3rd place. Fourth, fifth, sixth place

The Mini Stocks Return to Putnam Speedway after a week with no winner!

Putnam County Speedway opens for its 3rd night of racing with the Modifieds, Mini Stocks, 4 cyl. bombers, V8
Thunder Stocks, and hobby Stocks. As tempers fly, adrenaline rises and the fans get on their feet for another great
night of racing!

The hobby stock division takes to the field for there 15 lap main event, David Ham throws the green with Bruce
Birkett taking lead over Miller in the 21. With Moody in the 13 and Ron Frank in the 41 battling for 3rd and 4th place.
While the 9 of Bruce Birkett and the 21 of Miller gets a 1/2 straight away lead over the 3rd and 4th position. Miller
and Birkett battle hard for 1st and 2nd. As the leaders catches the slower traffic of Sky Sanford in the 91. Bobby
Rivers running 5th keeps his pace trying not to go a lap down. As the checkers come out the win will go to Bruce
Birkett in the 9 with Miller finishing 2nd, Moody in 3rd, and Ron Frank finishing 4th, Bobby Rivers in 5th.

Modified main event of 20 laps and 9 cars starting, The 61 of Mike Tripp gets an early lead over Tiny Greene in the
54. Tripp and Greene battle for 1st and 2nd. Then Tripp finds himself having a flat tire goes in and changes it
under caution, leaving Greene with the lead. Tripp comes back out taking...

Putnam County Speedway races against the Coca Cola 600

Putnam County Speedway will over come the Daytona race for 2008. As the drivers and
the fans start to pay to get into the track, the weather looks great and the management is
pleased with the turn out of 81 cars. The division to watch was the Modifieds with 23 cars
scheduled to run for $800.00 to win. They had 3 heat races and one large feature race.
With this being the largest car count Putnam County Speedway has had this season I
could not leave anyone out. So I am going to post......

PAWLAK TAKES WILD RIDE IN THE 4 CYL BOMBER DIVISION

As Putnam County Speedway takes win over mother nature. There was 6 division taking to
the track to get it race ready. The 4 cylinder bombers was the largest class on hand. As
the green drops the positions begin to change. With a couple of cautions for a few laps.
Art Souther is leading the field. Lap 7 brought a horrifying end to the race as Shawn
Pawlak in the 6pac car flips it and had to be life flighted to Shands. Doing as well as
expected after finding out the results of his injuries. Keep him and his family in your
prayers as Shawn has a long road to recovery. Art Souther takes.......

Sky's Open and Forces Putnam County Speedway to Call Race

Satsuma Fl.,Putnam County Speedway,had no choice but to pull the plug on racing events
scheduled for tonite,June 21st.After a hard rain Friday nite,track crews knew that any rain
Sat. would not be good for the speedway.By 12pm,the skies opened up and managment
had no choice but to cancel the nites events due to heavy saturation at the speedway
grounds.However,next week the rained out 20 lap Mini-Stock race paying $250 to winnner
is rescheduled.Along with them will be the return of the Mighty Late
Models,Sportsman,Hobby Stocks,Pure Stocks,and the ever popular 4cyl. Bombers,along
with Spectator Car Races.Spectator Car Racers must show....

20 Lap Mini Stock Mid Summer Shoot Out At Putnam County Speedway

Putnam County Speedway is proud to announce a new sponsor that has come on
board to help our drivers. This Saturday, 6/21/08, It will be a "20 Lap
Mid-Summer Shoot Out" for the Mini Stocks. For this race, Shamrocks Auto
Exchange out of Palatka, Florida has stepped up to the plate and has
sponsored this race. During this race the purses have increased because of
them. The Speedway and the drivers would like to say thank you, The Mini

Biggest Crowd At Putnam County Speedway In Two Years!

Putnam County Speedway seen some new faces in Victory Lane and the speedway saw
the biggest crowd in two years. The Pure Stock Division was the “On Your Feet Race” for
ALL 15 laps.
As Terry Dunber, From Ocala, First Time To Putnam said “ I am really impressed by the

August 30th 2008 Labor Day Extravaganza Rain Make Up Date, All Classes Running, General Admission is $20.00 Per Car Load OR $5.00 per person. Putnam County Speedway Management would also like to know how people feel about bringing in the Quads again. If you are in favor please call the speedway at 386-649-3010.
